#16 – Onions are Your Friends
It may sound silly, but onions your friends. Not literally, but they are the friends of your health. These vegetables (or fruits?) have several powerful antioxidants as their ingredients, especially shallots and red onion.
Also, pungent yellow and Western Yellow types of onion have several compounds that inhibit the growth of cells, which is great for preventing cancer. Because of this, introduce onions to your meals.
